Duke has won 12 of the 15 matchups and Coach K is just two shy of 100 career wins in the tournament. Michigan State didn’t look great against Davidson, barely advancing 74-73. Duke should roll – so the spread shouldn’t be feared – but if you’re worried that a rivalry game like this one could come down to the wire, the moneyline bet is a sure thing.

Purdue vs. Texas

In March, the eyes of Texas should be watchful at best. The Longhorns are a team that feels suspect, as they haven’t been impressive of late. They advanced by beating a tired Virginia Tech team that only made the dance because of a historic run through the ACC Tournament. And don’t forget, Texas lost in the Big 12 quarterfinals to TCU. On the other hand, Purdue’s only loss heading into the tournament was to Iowa in the Big 10 title game. The Boilermakers made a statement by beating Yale by 22 points, a margin that surpassed the spread by a comfortable six points. Tonight, Purdue sends Texas back to the Lone Star State for good.
