It’s New York, New York in the NBA nightcap
March 8, 2022
Knicks at Kings
Golden 1 Center – Sacramento, CA

Sacramento -3.5
The Knicks are coming off a big win last night in Los Angeles, knocking off the Clippers by a 116-93 count. Expect that momentum to carry over into the second half of a back-to-back.
New York snapped a seven-game losing streak with the win in L.A., but the Knicks are playing well on their west coast road trip, dropping a heartbreaker (115-114) to the Suns on Friday night before finally getting a win. That’s typical of a Tom Thibodeau team, playing hard every night.
The other time these two teams met this season, the Knicks rolled to a 116-96 victory on Jan. 31. A lot has changed since that night, however, as De’Aaron Fox didn’t play for the Kings at Madison Square Garden, but Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield were on the court for Sacramento.
The Kings have struggled at home this season, going just 15-18. The Knicks have a better overall record. And New York is coming off of a big win.
Two even teams on paper. One getting a couple of buckets. The Knicks are the play in this nightcap.
